Abstract Submission Guidelines

Important: When filling out the submission information, please use the section titled 'Contact Information' to input contact information for the Presenting Author or Workshop Organizer. The email address provided will be used for all correspondence regarding the paper and the conference; therefore it is very important that this email be valid and checked frequently. Also, as the presenting author or replica rolex organizer, please ensure that you register with the same email address provided in this system.
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
  1. Abstract submissions are encouraged to show a link to the theme of the conference “Entrepreneurship: Bridging Global Boundaries,” as well as relevance to the four pillars of ICSB - Policy Makers, Practitioners, Educators, and Researchers.
  1. All submissions must be original and must not be under concurrent consideration or scheduled for presentation elsewhere. Academic paper abstracts should clearly state the aim of the study, methods used, results obtained, and conclusions reached for SMEs and entrepreneurship as well as implications for policy or program development. Workshop and panel proposals should state the proposed format and organization, purpose of the session, benefits for participants, intended audience, and presenter expertise.

  1. All Abstracts must be in English.
  1. Abstracts should not exceed the maximum limit of 900 words. Please use double-spacing, Times Roman size 12 font.
  1. Abstracts must be in one of the following document formats; Adobe PDF (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), or Rich Text (rtf).
  1. All abstracts must be submitted through the online abstract submission system. An acknowledgment letter via email will be sent to you once you have successfully submitted your abstract.
  1. All submissions will be blind reviewed. Authors must avoid revealing their identities in the body of the abstract.
  1. All abstract submissions for Workshops/Symposia or Panel Sessions must include a description in the prefix of the title (i.e. WORKSHOP: Title or PANEL SESSION: Title).
  1. Please note that authors of abstracts accepted for presentation MUST be registered delegates. Presenting authors are cordially asked to register before April 30, 2010. Please click here to register.
  1. Notification Date is April 1, 2010.
  1. Final Submission and 100-word summary is due April 30, 2010.

The University of Cincinnati and the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) proudly present the 55th Anniversary ICSB World Conference. Educators, researchers, policy makers, practitioners, and professionals are invited to share in the exchange of ideas and experiences dealing with the development of small, entrepreneurial,and family business.
